It's Ian's First Birthday! This is one of our Baby Planners, but if you think he is precious, you should see his big sister. She is always a walking billboard for Gymboree! Too cute!

I don't think anyone is going to be sorry for the time and money invested in these Baby Albums....it is truly a watch me grow album. The nice thing about the Baby Plan is you stay on the plan as long as we see you once a year after your two year plan. We only have one mom that has done that and she just put her daughter's senior photos in the album. What a keepsake she will give her....but Janet has made it understood....she only gets it at mom's passing!!! LOL! Hey! they grow up and leave us....we should keep the books....we want to remember their sweet little faces. If you know anyone that wants to create these albums with their babies, ask them to call. They can join the Baby Plan up until 6 months old.

I have always appreciated the military men and women. I thought I understood the sacrifice their families made....I thought I did.....yesterday put a face to their pain. My son-in-law shipped out yesterday for a 10 month tour...he will be in the Pacific...not Iraq. The pain on my daughter's face and the tears she shed were torment to watch. They have only been married 5 months and yes, she kept saying all the right things..."won't be too long", "I'll adjust" She was holding something and kept touching her face with it.....but it broke my heart when I asked her about it and she said, "It's his shirt".

Bella Magazine has put out a Bella Baby issue and we were chosen to photograph the babies! How cool is that? It was a lot of fun, of course, because all the parents and grandparents were so excited about the contest. Check it out online or pick up an issue as you see them around town...they are free.

Also, we are doing a Newborn day on April 30. I have some new props and we are inviting Moms to bring in their newborns to model for us. No sitting fee....just make an appointment and we will play. Newborns are less than 6 weeks old. The younger the better (of course we don't want you checking out of the hospital early!!!!). Should we give a gift certificate to the youngest baby? Yes, and smallest..... $50 gift certificate to the youngest and $50 gift certificate to the smallest. How fun!!

Wow....I am soooooooooo glad that my place of employment is a short walk across the yard. Yes, I know how blessed I am. I have a newfound sense of empathy for all of you frequent flyers. We left on Wednesday morning (the 7th) going to the Dominican Republic and didn't get there until Thursday night....cancelled our flight out of Miami on Wednesday night.....the longest two days of my life....but it wasn't so bad...I was with friends I really enjoyed and we just visited while we waited on flights. I did a wedding for a friend and it was beautiful...I will post some pics later.

Be sure and get in to do the spring pics. We still have the bunny and our new white set. Start thinking about the Butterfly/Fairy pics. They are coming up in May. These are just the best and they are a great deal since they are one of the specials.
